Interest for audio technology started early. I built loudspeakers and
amplifier kits. During and after my cello studies at the Royal Academy
of Music in Copenhagen, I worked with loudspeaker and amplifier
projects. In 1987, I started as writer, translator and editor for
Scandinavian magazine High Fidelity
, with focus on
loudspeakers, amplifiers, and computer based audio measurement systems.
I bought the Italian Clio
measurement system for
personal use. In 2003, after more than 100 articles, I ended my job at High
Fidelity
.
In 2000 – 2001, I took a break from my orchestra work, and held a
position as Technical Writer and software-programmer at Contex. Contex
is world leader among large format scanner producers. The position had
nothing to do with audio, but I gained enormous experience from daily
tasks and an engineer-based environment.
In 2006 to 2009, I worked as loudspeaker constructor for a small but
ambitious start-up company. Company aim was state-of-the-art, flawless
audio reproduction and excellent measurements. Together with the
digital preamplifier/filter platform, frequency, phase and impulse
response of the loudspeaker was a hard match for any competitor. I
filed a patent application for the unique 4-woofer layout. This work
stopped together with the financial crisis in 2008 – 2009.
Since then, I have continued my work with audio equipment and sound
measurements. Today, I also work with electric music, meaning
keyboards, software synthesizers, guitars and similar. This means
hands-on experience with analog and DAW recording/mixing technology.
In 2019, I released my first CD - PersonalTechnology, First album.
